Hello there, I’m Jamie.  I’m a firefighter and when I’m not working, I spend my time in the woods hunting. I’ve been hunting since I was 11 and have used hundreds of knives in the last 18 years. I love talking about knives and that’s the reason I’ve created this space to share my knowledge and expertise to help people.

My Journey with Knives

  • My military dad introduced me to hunting at the age of 10 and got me into the world of hunting, guns, and various knives since then.
  • Learnt some basic cooking skills with my mum, mainly due to my interest in exploring different kitchen knives.
  • Got my hunting license at the age of 18 and went full-fledged exploring big game and processed hundreds till now.
  • After joining my fire station, I got to learn more recipes and eventually got to know more knife types than ever.
